You can choose two types of installation of your menu on the restaurant WordPress website:

  • "Embedded Menu" on the page - your restaurant menu will be available as the content of the page in which it is placed. Advanced settings will allow you to customize the Iframe on your site. Changes can be made during the site installation or afterwards by re-editing.

  • "Custom link" - Your restaurant's menu will be available as a button on the page, allowing customers to open the menu as a new browser window or full-screen modal.

Installing UpMenu system in WordPress

In order to install the UpMenu system in WordPress, you need to have administrator rights on an account created in WordPress.

  1. Go to “Website” → “Installation” → “Start Installation”.

  2. Choose the installation method – “Embedd UpMenu” to install UpMenu on your existing site. Click “Next”.

  3. Choose a website Provider – WordPress. Click “Next”.

  4. Copy the code provided.

  5. Log in to the administration panel in WordPress. Go to the “Pages” tab and select “Add New”.

  6. Enter the page name.

  7. Add a Custom HTML block and then paste the copied code in the text edit window.

  8. Publish the page.

  9. Go back to UpMenu and check the correct installation.

  10. Customers entering your website will be able to order online.
