Enabling the online ordering

Enable online orders to allow customers to place orders through your restaurant's website.

  1. Go to Restaurant → Order settings
  2. In the “Online orders” section, you can enable online orders after moving the slider to the right.
  3. Save changes.
  4. When the orders are enabled, the “Order” button and the cart will be visible in the menu. The customer can add products to the cart and place an order.

Disabling the online ordering

At any time, you can turn off the acceptance of online orders, e.g. due to a breakdown in the premises. By entering the reason for deactivation, you enable the display of an appropriate message on the restaurant's website. Disabling online orders will not terminate the contract with UpMenu.

  1. Go to Restaurant → Order settings
  2. In the “Online orders” section, you can disable online orders after moving the slider to the left.
  3. Set a message for your customers and specify the reason for not accepting orders.
  4. Save changes.
  5. After disabling the online food ordering system, products and prices will be visible without the “Order” button.

Tip

You can set automated enabling of orders if the break in accepting orders is temporary and you know exactly when you can start providing food delivery services again.
