UpMenu allows you to tag the products on your menu with additional labels so you can easily provide more information to your customers. When creating a new menu, you can use ready-made labels. Displaying the name of the label is the default option. You can change the display and set the description alone, or just the image or both the description and the image. You can also create your own labels, tailored to your needs.

Step 1: Create menu item labels

  1. Go to Menu.

  2. Choose “Labels” and click on the ”Create a label” button or use existing ones.

  3. Enter a name for a new label, for example, “Offer of the week”. If you wish, you can add a picture to the label by clicking on the camera icon. The image will appear next to the labeled product.

  4. Save the label.

Step 2: Adding labels to menu items

  1. Go to Menu.

  2. Click on “Edit details” (a pencil icon) next to the menu item you wish to edit.

  3. In “Menu item labels” section choose labels that you want to add to the product.

  4. Save your changes.

  5. The labels will appear below the description of the product on your menu.

Tip:

If after completing Steps 1 and 2 you still don't see the labels on the website, go to Website” → “Theme, click "Customize" and under "Menu items" change the font and background of the labels.
