If you do not want to collect customer data while they are ordering online, you can easily disable this option in UpMenu. In this case, the customer placing the order will not have to provide the data required in the contact tab, i.e. name, phone and email.

Disabling the collection of customer personal data

  1. Go to "Settings" → "Order settings" → "Order form".

  2. In the "Personal data" section, select the delivery types for which you do not want to require personal information. You can choose from:

    • Delivery - only data from the address part will be collected, i.e. street, postal code, city, apartment number and floor optionally

    • Pickup - no data will be collected

    • Dine-in - no data will be collected

  3. After saving the changes, the system will not ask the customer to provide personal information for the orders type indicated in the configuration.
