Everything you need to know to use the UpMenu Partner Affiliate Program. Find the answers to all your questions.
What is the UpMenu Affiliate Program?
The program is free to join, and allows you to monetize your audience or customers and earn commissions from each new UpMenu merchant referral.
Introduce your clients to UpMenu and you can earn up to 20% recurring revenue for every UpMenu referral.
The UpMenu Affiliate Program is available to everyone who has a large food business audience (like bloggers, youtubers or influencers) or works primarily with food businesses (marketing agencies, website designers & marketing freelancers, restaurant staff).
What is the difference between affiliate program and reseller program?
How much could I earn?
16,5% for every of 1 to 9 restaurants or shops
20% for restaurants or shops when you have acquired 10 and more paying customers (the increased commission is counted also for customers 1 through 9)
9 customers x $49 x 16,5% = $73 recurring monthly commission
10 customers x $49 x 20% = $98 recurring monthly commission
60 customers x $89 x 20% = $1068 recurring monthly commission
What is the commission structure when I refer a restaurant chain?
When a referral becomes a paying customer with many subscriptions like restaurant chains (one account with many locations = many subscriptions) you will get commission for every location with active subscription.
1 restaurant chain with 9 locations (9 customers) x $49 x 16,5% = $73 recurring monthly commission
1 restaurant chain with 10 locations (10 customers) x $49 x 20% = $98 recurring monthly commission
1 restaurant chain with 60 locations (60 customers) x $89 x 20% = $1068 recurring monthly commission
When do the payments stop?
We only stop paying you when the customer you've referred stops using UpMenu (customer will not have active subscription)
How are referrals tracked and how long is the link valid?
After registration you get your unique affiliate link which will track all of your referrals. When educating your audience about UpMenu, always use your unique affiliate link. Our tracking cookies last 60 days, meaning that if a visitor clicks on your affiliate link posted on your website (or video, email etc.), then you will be credited with the referral as long as the visitor signs up for a trial within 60 days. Who makes the formal service agreement with the customer?
In the Affiliate Program agreement UpMenu does that. This happens the moment a customer accepts the terms and conditions while making the purchase.
Can an Affiliate Partner become a white label partner?
No. It does not make sense as affiliate partner just encourages their clients to sign up for UpMenu.
If you want to become a white label partner we have a Reseller Partner Program. You need to sign-up for this program.
Can referred customers have the option to hide "powered by UpMenu"?
Yes. Every UpMenu customer with an active Premium subscription has the option to hide "powered by UpMenu" label
Who provides support for referred customers?
Affiliate partner just encourages their clients to sign up for UpMenu so UpMenu will provide any support to referred customers.
Who configures UpMenu for referred customers?
That depends on you.
If you are blogger, youtuber or influencer you just encourage your audience to sign up for UpMenu with your unique affiliate link so you will most likely leave the configuration up to the referred restaurant. This is the most typical scenario in affiliate program.
But if your customers are restaurants (you are a marketing agency, website designer freelancer, marketing freelancer etc.) you will most likely want to configure UpMenu for your customer on your own.
